Let Scugog know tomorrow if you want paid parking or not

The Township of Scugog is inviting residents, business owners, and stakeholders to participate in tomorrow’s Public Open House for the Scugog Parking Enforcement and Permitting Strategy.

“Parking plays a critical role in our community, impacting traffic flow and economic development. This strategy is intended to explore the feasibility of a parking permitting program that optimizes parking resources, supports economic development, and enhances livability. Your insights and feedback are important in shaping these parking management strategies in Scugog,” said a township announcement.

The township had an online survey catering separately to residents, visitors, and businesses. At the Public Open House, the project team will share key details about the study and facilitate interactive activities to collect feedback on the parking challenges and opportunities in Scugog.

Details of the Event:

  • Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 6:30 pm to 8 pm.
  • At Scugog Community Recreation Centre (1655 Reach Street)

All presentation materials will be available on the project page after the event, the township said.
