Three under-construction homes lit, police look for arsonists

An arson investigation has been started after three under construction homes were lit on fire in Pickering say DRPS.

On Sunday, May 3, around 5:40 am, members of West Division responded to an assist fire call in the area of Catalina Manor and Alexander Knox Road.

Officers arrived on scene and assisted fire services with traffic control as they worked to extinguish three active fires.

All homes were under construction and unoccupied at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported to police but the houses were damaged.

Further investigation revealed that at about 5:15 am, three persons of interest were seen in the area.
