Life-altering injuries for air-lifted biker in Harley crash

Durham Police yesterday said a 45-year old male suffered life-altering injuries in a motorcycle collision in Oshawa.

On Friday, September 26 at about 3:30 pm, members from Central East Division responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Park Road North and Bloor Street West.

A vehicle was travelling west bound on Bloor Street West, and was making a left-hand turn into a nearby plaza. A Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling east bound, and struck the sedan. The impact caused extensive damage to the motorcycle and life-altering injuries to the motorcyclist, police said.

The 45-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was air-lifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he remains in stable condition.

Members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The area was closed for several hours while evidence was collected. This collision is still under investigation.
