Man held on arrival at Pearson for murder done 14 years ago

The suspect of a homicide investigation from 2010 has been arrested after returning to Canada.

On January 31, DRPS Investigators were contacted by members of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Peel Regional Police regarding a male wanted for a 2010 murder, the victim was 32-years-old at the time of his death. The suspect was taken into custody after flying into Pearson Airport from South America. DRPS officers attended Pearson Airport and transported the suspect back to Durham Region.

The suspect, age 36 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Second Degree Murder, and Robbery. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.

He was held for a bail hearing.
