Man uses spray as weapon for restaurant robbery

A male suspect is being sought for threatening to spray an employee with an unknown substance and stealing cash from a restaurant in Ajax.

On Sunday, October 29 at about 2:30 pm, members of West Division responded to a robbery in progress at the Mr. Sub located at 570 Westney Road South in Ajax.

An unknown male entered the restaurant and demanded cash while threatening to spray an employee with an unknown substance from a container that was concealed in his hand. The suspect fled prior to police arrival, said a police statement.

The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 44-55 years-old, 5’8”, slim build, with a clean shaven face. He was wearing a sunglasses, a black mask, a black leather jacket, and grey camouflage cargo pants
