Multiple warrants unearth drugs worth $400,000+

Durham Police investigators have arrested two suspects, seized drugs, firearms and cash after executing multiple search warrants in Oshawa.

On Friday, September 23, members of the Central East Division Community Response Team, with the assistance of Gun and Gang Unit, Tactical Support Unit and the Drug Enforcement Unit concluded weeks long drug investigation. As a result of that investigation, search warrants were executed on Colborne Street, Ballard Street and Saguenay Avenue, which were associated to the suspects. A quantity of drugs (fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine), two firearms and cash were seized during the execution of the warrants. The drugs have a street value of over $400,000.

One suspect from Oshawa and another with no fixed address have been held for bail hearings.
