New play equipment coming to four Clarington parks

The Municipality of Clarington has announnced that residents will soon see new playground equipment at the following four municipal parks:

  • Rhonda Park, 92 Rhonda Boulevard, Bowmanville
  • Elephant Hill Park, 30 Maconnachie Place, Bowmanville
  • Argent Park, 592 Longworth Avenue, Bowmanville
  • Solina Park, 1964 Concession Road 6, Solina

Crews will work from May to August to remove the existing equipment that has reached its end of life and install new play structures, swings and other park amenities, said a notice.

Temporary fencing will be erected around the construction areas, and we remind residents to stay a safe distance back and not enter the construction site.

The notice said the parks are expected to reopen in late summer. Timelines are approximate and will vary depending on weather and other factors.
