Clarington Municipality scheduled a virtual meeting yesterday to get public comments before making a decision on an application for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment required for a new development on Oshawa-Courtice border.
Lucrative Investments Inc. has submitted an application for 55A Townline Road South, and 2708059 Ontario Inc. has submitted an application for 55B Townline Road South to permit triplex units within the existing detached dwellings, said a statement.
Each property will require a reduction in the minimum width of the drive aisle from six metres to 3.5 metres. The proposal includes a reduction in the required number of parking spaces from six to four spaces, including a reduction in the width of one parking space from the required 2.75 metres to 2.5 metres and a reduction in the required landscaped open space, the statement said.
The properties are located at 55A and 55B Townline Road South, on east side of Townline Road in Courtice.
