No licence, no insurance, but rider does 104 in 60-zone

Some Durham drivers seem to be daredevils, tempting fate and police, to respond to Muhammad Ali’s favourite phrase: “Catch me if you can”.

One did – and was promptly nabbed by the vigilant Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers.

Yesterday DRPS reported in a tweet that its West Division officers caught a motorcyclist speeding.

The vehicle was seized for excessive speed as it was clocked doing 104kmh in a 60kmh zone.

“Did we mention the driver doesn’t even have a motorcycle licence? How about insurance? OHHH wait they don’t have that either… well now they won’t have their bike for 14 days😕,” said the police tweet.

No further details were made available.
