Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said a man was found dead in a vehicle in Lake Ontario.
“Our Collision Investigation Unit is looking into an incident where a pickup truck drove into Lake Ontario at West Shore Boulevard and Beachpoint Promenade in Pickering around 7:11 pm.
“One adult male found deceased. No signs of foul play,” said a tweet from DRPS.
It was not revealed if the man in the vehicle was the driver or not, nor if he died from drowning or other causes.
No further details were released until late last night.
