The Buzzing Bees Adventure farm is back again with another corn maze and, this time the theme is ‘Pirates’.
It has created an in-maze puzzle hunt with escape-room style puzzles; which – the farm claims – is the only one of its kind in Ontario, and one of the biggest and most complex mazes.
The game this year is the Pirate Puzzle Hunt which is played inside the corn maze. The story is, a Pirate crew accumulated a large fortune of treasure but not trusting each other they hid the treasure. Each pirate only knew one of the 8 landmarks needed to retrieve the treasure. Luckily, the Buzzing Bees Adventure farm has found the secret journals that once belonged to the pirate crew. Guests will need to use these clues to solve puzzles and find the hidden treasure chest at the end of the maze.
The puzzles are designed for people of all ages, said the farm.
Family Friendly Activities
Along with their marquee corn maze and in-maze game, the farm includes a number of other family friendly activities like peddle karts, elastic band shooting range, toddler playground, slides, sandbox, field games and more. Their rabbits and chickens will also be out to visit. They have fresh popped kettle corn, and their own maple syrup, honey, jam and, of course, lots of pumpkins. Entry is $10 per person with children under 2 years old free with an adult. The adventure farm is open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays from September 19th until November 1st and at 1070 Concession Road 5, Sunderland in the Township of Brock.
