Pickering body was of Clarington suspect’s roommate

Durham Police investigators have confirmed the identity of the deceased female that was located in north Pickering Sunday night.

The suspect dumped the body of her roommate in Pickering woods.

The results of the post-mortem has identified the victim as Terri Johnson, age 52 of Clarington. The 71-year-old suspect was charged with Second Degree Murder and Interference with a Dead Body in connection with the death of her roommate.

This is the third homicide investigation of 2022 in Durham Region. More details at www.drps.ca.
