The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday announced it is aware of a flyer that has been circulating, promoting a car rally to show support for Gaza.
The rally is scheduled for today (Saturday, October 28th), starting in Pickering and moving to Toronto, said a police statement.
“We are committed to maintaining an enhanced police presence in these areas, and also within our faith-based communities,” said a DRPS statement.
It said the DRPS is actively collaborating with members of the Toronto Police Service and the City of Pickering to ensure the safety of all community members.
