Police look for suspect who shot at victim, missed and fled

Durham Police are investigating after shots were fired in Oshawa on Saturday night.

On December 10 at about 9:30 pm, members from Central East Division were dispatched to the area of Nassau Street and King Street West for an armed person. An incident occurred between the suspect male and the victim, and the suspect became physical with the victim. The suspect then shot at the victim, missing him, and fled southbound on Nassau. Officers on scene located a shell casing. No physical injuries were reported, said police.

The suspect is described as: male, Black, black shoulder length hair in a dreadlock style, approximately 20-years-old, wearing a black puffy jacket, black pants with white stripe and black shoes,

Police are appealing for anyone with home security or dashcam footage along Nassau Street, or anyone with new information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Trafford of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2739.
