Durham police are looking for a male suspect after he broke into a Pickering business.
Last October 7 around 3:30 am, a male operating a dark-coloured SUV attended 24/7 Vacuum Excavation located at 1720 8th Concession Road in Pickering.
The suspect used bolt cutters to remove chains locking the front gate. The suspect then attempted to steal diesel fuel from two separate fuel tanks before leaving the area, police said.
Police did not say if he was successful or not.
The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 5’7” – 5’8” tall, with a heavy build. He was wearing a black Under Armour hoodie, and black pants.
The suspect vehicle is described as: a dark-coloured SUV, with rear passenger-side wheel different from the rest.
