Police seize Range Rover along with loaded guns and drugs

Durham Police said a male is in custody for firearm and drug possession following an investigation by the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit.

On Tuesday, December 3, members of the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit (GGU) concluded a firearm investigation which saw the execution of search warrants at a storage locker and a residence in Toronto.

During the search, investigators located and seized a loaded Glock 19, a loaded Ruger LCP, ammunition, an overcapacity magazine, an automatic selector switch for a Glock handgun, a quantity of drugs and a 2020 Range Rover. Both loaded firearms that were seized originated from the United States, police said.

A 29-year-old male from Toronto was charged held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
