DRPS Traffic Services also had to close traffic along Lake Ridge Road in Scugog between Chalk Lake Road and Regional Road 21 for a collision investigation.

About an hour later, the road was reopened.

However, Taunton Road was closed between Courtice Road and Enfield Road in Clarington for a house fire. Please choose an alternate route, said the police.
