The City of Pickering’s Petapolooza event for pet owners and enthusiasts will take place on Saturday, May 13 from 10 am to 4 pm in Esplanade Park.
“Petapolooza offers something fun for everyone,” said Lindsey Narraway, Supervisor, Animal Services. “We have an exciting event line-up prepared and are looking forward to seeing all of our furry friends have the time of their lives.”
Animal Services will be accepting voluntary donations upon entry. All donations will go towards the development of a new Animal Shelter in Pickering, said a city statement.
The event gives attendees the opportunity to meet fellow pet owners/enthusiasts, industry professionals, and rescue groups.
The city expects around 5,000+ attendees, and over 50 exhibitors and rescue groups. There will be plenty of giveaways including pet bandanas, games, food samples, water stations for your pet, live entertainment for the whole family and more!
Don’t miss the SuperDogs performing at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm, it said.
