Durham Region is advising residents of lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the Township of Brock.
These are ongoing and are projected to last until the end of June to safely complete road rehabilitation.
This work will happen from 55 metres north of Highway 48 to 200 metres north of Thorah Park Boulevard in the Township of Brock.
Lane restrictions on Shirley Road
There are also ongoing lane restrictions on Shirley Road (Regional Road 19) in the Township of Scugog, which will last until the end of May.
These start 50 metres west of Old Scugog Road to 35 metres west of Regional Road 57 in the Township of Scugog.
Restrictions are to safely complete road rehabilitation.
Lane restrictions on Regional Road 57
Durham Region is also advising residents of ongoing lane restrictions on Regional Road 57 in the Township of Scugog.
These are expected to last until the end of July and start 70 metres south of Shirley Road (Regional Road 19) to 700 metres north of Edgerton Road in the Township of Scugog.
Lane restrictions are needed to safely repave Regional Road 57, along with the construction of new road shoulders and replacement of steel guide rails.
Roads closed due to crashes
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday closed off Rossland Road West between Fernhill Boulevard and Gibbons Street in Oshawa for a collision investigation.
Police also closed off Sheppard Avenue between Whites Road and Fairport Road, as well as one northbound lane on Whites Road from Sheppard Avenue for a collision investigation.
The roads were later reopened.
