Robbery victim flags down officers who nab suspects

On Saturday, January 25, Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) reported that two suspects approached a victim at a bus stop in the area of Centre Street North and King Street West in Oshawa.

According to police, the suspects took the victim’s cellphone and left on foot. The victim followed them, at which point one of the suspects displayed a knife. The victim then flagged down officers in the area, who took the suspects into custody.

DRPS stated that a 17-year-old male from Oshawa and a 17-year-old male from Toronto were both charged and held for a bail hearing.
