You may try and hide your scent in waist-deep swamp, or think you can hide in thick woods, but there is no getting away from the canny K-9 unit of the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).

Yesterday morning, PC Wayne King, K9 Rogue and DRPS East Division officers tracked two suspects who had fled from a police pursuit, said a tweet.

After a gruelling two-hour track through thick woods and waist-deep swamps, Rogue successfully located the two perps concealing themselves in thick brush, it said.
