Suspect sets fire to three separate homes, vehicles

Durham Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male wanted for Arson and Mischief in Whitby.

On Sunday, June 5, members from Central West Division attended three separate calls for service where an unknown male caused damage to three separate homes and/or vehicles, said a police statement.

All addresses were in the area of Country Lane and Medland Avenue and all three are in close proximity to one another. Investigators believe the same male is responsible of all three incidents.

A surveillance photo of the male is attached.

Police are urging the suspect to contact a lawyer and turn himself in.

Anyone who may have information about his whereabouts is asked to contact D/Cst. Adepegba of Central West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1854.
