The City of Oshawa announced that summer camp registration will begin at 9 am on Tuesday, April 8. City officials noted that due to high demand, website delays may occur; as a result, system capacity has been increased and a queue added on activeOshawa Online.
The announcement encourages residents to explore camp options on the city’s website at oshawa.ca/Camps. Registration is available online and in person, though phone-in registration is not offered.
For those registering online, the city advises that residents ensure their activeOshawa account is prepared before registration day.
During peak registration periods, the city explained that invoices may take several hours to arrive after registrations are marked as pending. Once processed, credits will be applied and courses will move to “My Courses > Current & Future.” The accepted online payment methods include MasterCard, American Express, Visa, and Visa Debit; other debit options are not accepted.
In-Person Registration
Available at:
- Civic Recreation Complex
- Delpark Homes Centre
- Donevan Recreation Complex
- South Oshawa Community Centre
The City of Oshawa also emphasized its commitment to inclusivity, noting that support may be available for campers who require additional assistance. While assistance cannot be guaranteed in every case, city staff will work with families to determine the best options for accessing camp programs. Campers seeking inclusion support are required to register for the Inclusion Services course in addition to the corresponding camp course.
