Shots fired at Ajax home… reported days later

Durham Police are investigating after shots were fired on a residential street in Ajax on Thursday, September 22.

On Tuesday, September 27, members from West Division attended an address on Telford Street after receiving information of a possible shooting that occurred last Thursday at approximately 3:30 am. Officers attended the area and determined numerous shots were fired at one residential home. No injuries were reported; however, the home did sustained damage from the gunshots. There is no suspect description at this time, said a police statement.

Police are looking for a light-colored sedan that was seen in the area prior to and during the shooting.

Anyone with home security or dash-cam video near the above location, or anyone with new information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Beline of the West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2541.
