An apartment complex in Oshawa was the scene of a shooting on Monday, October 26, says DRPS.
At around 11:45 pm, members of Central East Division responded to multiple reports of gunshots at an apartment complex in the area of Hall Street and Centre Street South.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark-coloured sedan fleeing the area following the incident. This vehicle was stolen out of Toronto and has since been recovered by police.
Investigators determined that the building’s front door and side windows had been struck by gunfire, causing damage to the property. Officers at the scene located a number of shell casings outside the front entrance of the building.
No injuries have been reported to police as of yet. The investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone with information about this incident, including dash camera, security camera or cellphone footage, is asked to contact investigators at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1705.
