Store clerk assaulted by client who didn’t want to pay

Durham Police investigators are looking for a suspect after a convenience store was robbed in Oshawa.

On Thursday, July 28, at about 9:31 pm, members of Central East Division were dispatched to 4 Seasons Convenience store on Wilson Road South. The male suspect entered the store, selected some merchandise and a verbal altercation took place prior to the clerk being assaulted. The suspect grabbed the merchandise and fled in a cream-colored sedan, said a police satement.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The suspect is described as male, White, 5’10” tall, medium build, short brown hair and glasses. He was wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
