Durham police have arrested a male responsible for a stabbing in Oshawa.
On Thursday, February 26, around 10:40 pm, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Celina Street and Bruce Street. The victim was stabbed after being approached by three suspects who started a verbal altercation.
On Thursday, March 26, officers located the suspect responsible for the stabbing in Oshawa. Following a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody.
At the time of the stabbing the accused was already bound by a weapons prohibition.
The 24-year old suspect from Oshawa was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
