Suspect flees on bicycle after double stabbing in Oshawa

Police are searching for a suspect after two people were stabbed in Oshawa over the weekend.

According to Durham police, officers were called to the area of Albert Street and Albany Street around 1:30 pm on Saturday, August 16. When they arrived, they found two people injured on the sidewalk. Investigators determined both victims had been stabbed.

The victims were taken to hospital, where they remain in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a Black male, about 6’5” tall, weighing 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans and fleeing the area on a bicycle.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have cellphone or dashcam video, to come forward.
