The Festive RIDE campaign is coming back to Durham

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday announced that, along with local agencies, it will be launching the 2023 Festive RIDECampaign this week with a strong message about the dangers of impaired driving.

Hosted by DRPS, this year’s launch will take place at the DRPS Education and Training Centre in Whitby on Friday, November 7 at 10 am.

Featured speakers include Police Chief Peter Moreira, Durham Region Transit General Manager Bill Holmes, Trisha Dosaj, Chapter President of Durham Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and John Ongaro, Durham Region Chapter Vice President MADD.
