These cars were in a road rage incident that led to shooting

Durham Police are searching for a male suspect after two vehicles were involved in a shooting in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, November 20, at about 12:40 pm, members of Central East Division responded to a report of gun shots in the area of Elmgrove Avenue and Westmount Street.  Officers searched the area and located a bullet hole in the front of a residence.

Further investigation revealed that at about 12:35 pm, the driver of a black Audi A3 two-door, and the driver of a silver Infiniti G37 four-door sedan, were involved in an altercation in the south east corner of the Oshawa Centre parking lot.  The driver of the Infiniti fired a gun at the Audi, as both vehicles fled the area at a high rate of speed, police said.

No persons with injuries have come forward to police.
