Three held for muder of man, pregnant wife in Clarington

Durham Police have arrested and charged three individuals with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of a married Bowmanville couple.

On Saturday, February 4 last year at about 12:45 am, three masked suspects, who were armed, arrived at an address on Crombie Street in Bowmanville. The suspects entered the residence and shot both victims multiple times at close range. Both victims died instantly.

The woman was six months pregnant at the time of her murder, police said.

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) Homicide Unit has arrested three parties responsible for the murders of Aram Kamel and Rafad Alzubaidy.

One suspect, age 22 of No Fixed Address, another age 22 of Toronto, and a third, age 21 of Toronto were charged with First Degree Murder x2.
