Three knife-brandishing men rob LCBO at start of weekend

Durham Police are investigating after three males stole numerous liquor bottles during a knife-point robbery at an LCBO in Oshawa.

On Saturday, September 30 at approximately 1:40 pm, members from Central East Division attended the LCBO located at 400 Gibb Street in Oshawa for an armed robbery.

Three suspects entered the store and began filling a basket with liquor bottles. The suspects then attempted to flee the store but were stopped by staff members. One of the suspects produced a knife. The suspects then fled the area, said a police statement.

No parties were physically injured, it said.

The first suspect is described as male, South Asian, 25-30 years-old. He was wearing a black baseball hat and a reflective construction vest.

The second suspect is described as male, South Asian, 25-30 years-old. He was wearing a black baseball hat, and black t-shirt.

The third suspect is described as male, South Asian, 25-30 years-old.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the event or have video footage, including dash-cam, to please come forward.
