The Region of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.
These will be from August 24 to September 8. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule, the region said.
Restrictions will be in place on Simcoe Street North, from 125 metres north of Northern Dancer Drive to Northern Dancer Drive.
It is needed to safely construct an entrance in support of new development.
The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
