Two Toronto teens held after robbing Ajax home

Two 16-year-old males were arrested following a home-invasion style robbery at a residence in Ajax on Wednesday.

On November 10 at about 12:15 am, members of West Division responded to a home-invasion style robbery at a residence in the area of Kerrison Drive East and Harwood Avenue North. The two suspects broke into the home, one was armed with a gun, confined the two victims and stole items from the home, said a police statement.

The two suspects fled through the residential area and were eventually arrested nearby. The victims were not injured during the robbery.

Two 16-year-old males of Toronto, face a combined 39 charges which include: Robbery; Break and Enter; Forcible Confinement; Utter Threats; Theft Under $5,000; Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon; Assault with a Weapon and Mischief to Property.

They were both held for bail hearings.
