Upcoming lane restrictions in Scugog and Brock

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of alternating, daytime north and south-bound lane restrictions on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) in the Township of Scugog.

When: April 25 to May 4. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street south of Saintfield Road (Regional Road 6) in the Township of Scugog.

Why: To safely complete bridge repairs.

The region said the construction work will be completed one lane at a time, and that it realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for pedestrian, cyclist, and construction worker safety.

More work on Simcoe Street

The Regional Municipality also advised of further construction and lane restrictions on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) in the Township of Scugog.

  • When: April 25 to June 24.
  • Where: Simcoe Street from north of Castle Harbour Drive to north of Scugog Line 12 in the Township of Scugog.
  • Why: To safely complete road rehabilitation.

Lane Restrictions on Lake Ridge Road in Brock

The Regional Municipality of Durham is notified residents of construction and lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the Township of Brock.

When: April 25 to June 24.

Where: Lake Ridge Road from north of Sunderland Road (Regional Road 10) to south of Concession Road 7 in the Township of Brock.

Why: To safely complete road rehabilitation.
