Why Tony Stravato is running for Durham Riding MPP

Tony Stravato, a vocal advocate for autism in Durham and Ontario, is running as an independent candidate for Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in the Durham Riding.

“It’s important for the Durham Riding to elect me because I believe that the riding needs a non-partisan voice,” Stravato told Durham Post.

“I’ll always put the needs of the people of the Durham Riding first,” he said.

Stravato said the big advantage of having an elected independent MPP is that “I can work with any government in power for good policy, and fight against any government for bad policy”.

Stravato says he is ready to be a true advocate for all people of the Durham Riding and Ontario’s most vulnerable populations.

“My door will always be open, and the Durham Riding will always have a seat at the table,” said the MPP hopeful.

“It’s time to work together to rebuild this province! The time for change is now. I’m ready, are you?” he asked voters.

Stravato is a father of twin Autistic boys, board member for the Ontario Autism Coalition and Co-founder of the Durham Crew Autism Advocates.
