Starting today, October 25, work will begin to install electric vehicle chargers at a number of Whitby facilities. All work will be complete by December 2021.
A town statement said parking lots and sidewalks may be partially closed and there is the potential for noise and dust. The work will be carried out in two phases.
“The town remains committed to environmental sustainability for the benefit of our community,” the statement added.
During construction, residents may notice the partial closure of parking lots and sidewalks. There is also the potential for noise and dust.
