20-year old PSW charged for forging police clearance

A Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Durham Region has been arrested after submitting a forged police criminal record check to her employer.

This May, members of the Financial Crimes Unit began an investigation into a female believed to have submitted a fraudulent criminal record check to her employer. Investigators confirmed that the document submitted had been altered and was not an official police record check document.

The suspect, age 20 from Ajax was charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
