20-year old who killed two, shot three others, charged

Durham Police investigators have charged a 20-year-old male with the deaths of two males earlier this year in Oshawa.

One man from Toronto, and another from Oshawa, were two of five people shot on June 25 at about 12:45 am at The BLVD restaurant and bar. They succumbed to their injuries at the scene while the remaining three victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Through an extensive investigation, DRPS Major Crime Homicide investigators were able to identify the accused.

The suspect from Scarborough, has been charged with Second Degree Murder x2 and Aggravated Assault x3. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
