24-year old charged with murder in Oshawa bar stabbing

Durham police investigators have charged a male in connection with the death of a 19-year-old female earlier this month.

On Sunday, December 4 at about 2:30 am, a 19-year-old victim suffered life threatening injuries following an incident out front of a bar in Oshawa.

Teil-lyn Cook of Pickering, was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre where she has since succumbed to her injuries.

Through an extensive investigation, DRPS Major Crime Homicide investigators were able to identify the accused.

The 24-year old suspect has been charged with Second Degree Murder. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
