33-year-old says stranger stabbed him after quarrel

Durham Police investigators are looking for a suspect after a stabbing early Thursday morning in Oshawa.

On Thursday, July 28, at approximately 6 am, members of Central East Division responded to a stabbing incident near Simcoe Street and Athol Street East. Officers located a 33-year-old male with injuries consistent with being stabbed. The male advised that he was involved in an altercation with the unknown suspect, police said.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.

There are no suspect descriptors at this time.
