Loud and dark truck with no plate, papers or insurance…

Gunning the engine on the road in public seems to be a lot of fun for some, especially if they have powerful cars and trucks – and/or Harleys.

One such driver had the thought of heavily tinting the windows of a loud truck, probably thinking that might help avoid facial recognition? The truck-owner, of course, removed the front number plate too – just to be extra sure.

But canny Durham Regional Police Service North Division officers in Uxbridge were not fooled.

“The driver was charged with having front window tint, an improper aftermarket muffler that emitted excessive and unreasonable noise, no front plate and not providing ownership or insurance,” said a tweet from the police.

No further details were provided.
