Durham Police investigators have had a seventh shooting victim come forward as police continues to investigate the shooting that injured seven patrons of an after-hours party in Ajax.
A seventh victim has recently come forward after seeking medical attention. The injuries were considered minor, said a police statement.
It said investigators continue to look for clues that would assist in identifying the suspect and suspect vehicle. Police are releasing some video surveillance photos of the vehicle and need anyone who may have video or pictures from the night of July 31, into the early morning hours of August 1, to come forward.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black newer model Honda Civic with distinct rims.

On August 1 at about 1:20 am, members from West Division were dispatched to a shooting call at the rear of the Dams Foods on Harwood Avenue South. Police located five people suffering from gunshot wounds. A sixth person showed up at a Toronto hospital, also suffering from a gunshot wound.
It’s believed that the suspect was in attendance at the customer appreciation party and was involved in a verbal altercation with some patrons. The suspect left the restaurant and returned hours later and opened fire at the party.
Police interviewed several patrons of this after-hours party and continue to look for witnesses and evidence that would assist in identifying the suspects(s).
