Traffic flows were challenged in Pickering yesterday as Brock Road and Highway 401 was blocked by a malfunctioning truck.
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) issued a traffic alert yesterday afternoon saying one northbound lane of Brock Road at Highway 401 was blocked due to an inoperable transport truck with a shifted load.
“Significant delays are expected over the next several hours. Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route. Update to follow,” it said.
No further information was released by 11pm last night.
