Catch Rachel Jean LIVE with Canada Roxx on Friday night

Canada Roxx, one of the best Tributes to Canada’s Rock and Roll featuring Rachel Jeans and Earl Johnson from Moxy, will be performing live on Friday, October 29.

The concert is scheduled to start at 7 pm at The Keene Centre for the Arts at Keene, just east of Durham.

Canada Roxx plays hits from the likes of Alannah Myles, Alanis Morissette, April Wine, Bryan Adams, Tom Cochrane, Jeff Healey, Toronto, The Tragically Hip, Triumph, Sass Jordan, Joni Mitchell, and more.

The Band

The band was born in Toronto and has been playing classic rock since 2012. Members include:

  • Rachel Jeans – Lead Vocal
  • Gabriel Giammaria – Lead Vocal
  • Earl Johnson – Guitar
  • Carlo Pontone – Bass
  • Ron McLoad – Drums

Earl Johnson, renowned guitarist and founding member of the legendary Canadian rock band Moxy, brings an immense amount of talent and experience to the band, touring in the past with AC DC, Black Sabbath, and Santana to name a few, says the band’s official website.

It describes Canada Roxx singer/songwriter and Toronto’s Rising Star Winner, Rachel Jeans, as having incredible vocals. Her powerful performances show an immense passion and love for the music and her fans. Watching her live is an experience you don’t want to miss, it points out.

Vocals Duo

Multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Giammaria is Canada Roxx ‘s newest addition, bringing outstanding vocals and rhythm guitar. Gabriel and Rachel make for a powerhouse vocal duo like no other! Gabriel has an extensive musical background including a year-long stint at the Musicians Institute in California and is in his Senior Year at Humber College, taking part in their music program, according to the band’s site.

Completing the backbone of the band is one of the most respected drummers in the Toronto tour circuit, Ron McLeod, alongside bass player and back-up vocalist Carlo Pontone. Carlo brings his passion, experience, and positive energy to the band and stage. Ron and Carlo have played in various bands together over the past 20 years, including the highly acclaimed Cult tribute ‘Sanctuary’ and 80’s tribute ‘Rock Gods’.
