Durham Police said a male and female are facing drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was executed at a residence in Clarington.
On Friday, October 6, members of the East Division Community Response Team, with the assistance of the DRPS Drug Enforcement Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Liberty Street South and Baseline Road in Clarington.
Approximately $21,000 worth of drugs and drug paraphernalia were located and seized. A male and female were taken into custody without incident, said a police statement.
A 39-year old male of Clarington and a 36-year old female of No Fixed Address were charged and held for a bail hearing. Namea and further details available at www.drps.ca.
