This G2 driver failed to yield to traffic… in a safety zone

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday reiterated its oft-repeated advice to drive with care near schools.

The message was broadcast after DRPS North Division officers charged a G2 driver with failing to yield to traffic in a community safety zone.

“Please drive carefully, especially near schools.” it said.

The incident was reported in Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.

Meanwhile, DRPS said a female of Oshawa has been charged with impaired operation, dangerous driving, and numerous other offences after fleeing from police during a traffic stop over the weekend (see below).
