The remains of an individual have been located in Courtice in the Municipality of Clarington.
Investigators believe they belong to Justin, the 38-year-old man who was previously reported missing from the area.
Justin was last seen earlier this year, and police issued multiple appeals for help in locating him. The most recent update indicated that officers were still actively searching (see below).
No further details have been released at this time.
