Elderly woman pushed to the ground and robbed

Durham Police are looking for a suspect after an elderly victim was robbed in Oshawa.

On September 8 at about 2:15 pm, members of Central East Division responded to a street-level robbery at Williams Street and Division Street in Oshawa. The elderly victim was walking through a pathway when the suspect approached her, pushed her to the ground and took her purse, said a police statement.

The suspect fled the area on a bicycle. Police searched the area with negative results.

The suspect is described as male, White with a slim build. He was wearing a red baseball cap, no shirt and black pants.
