Town of Whitby yesterday reminded Durham residents and visitors of free parking in effect at the town’s downtown locations.
“Free parking continues all throughout Whitby’s downtown until January 4th,” said a tweet from the town yesterday.
“Get some holiday shopping done, grab a bite to eat, and take in the sights + sounds!” it added.
Earlier, Oshawa had announced free parking in its downtown (see below).
